Junior football celebrates great season

Under 12s Best and Fairest winner Mitch Loughnan, 2nd Lachlan Phillips and 3rd Mac Pendergast with Coaches Award winner Xavier Walker, Most Improved Hunter Frauenfelder and Most Consistent Lachlin Harvey.

Under 16s Most Improved Kyle Abikhair, Best and Fairest winner Sam Mickelson, third placed Alex Byrne, with Coaches Award winner Hayden Cartwright and Most Determined Thomas Hicks.

Under 14s Best and Fairest winner Ned Pendergast, runner-up Zac Banch and 3rd placed Jett Smith with Coaches Award winner Will Wheaton.

Youth girls award winners Most Consistent Tayla Sampson, Most Improved Evita Williams, Coaches Award winner Molly Burke, Best and Fairest Runner-up Molly Kennedy, third-placed Best and Fairest Grace Thompson and Most Determined Olivia Elliott.

The Yarrawonga Junior Football Club marked the end of a positive season with their awards presentation night on Friday.

The under 12s, 14s and 16s had a chance to recognise their award winners and for the first time the girls football team joined in the presentation night after their inaugural season.
All four teams made finals in 2017 and Club President Dave Woodburn thanked all the coaches, parents, players and volunteers for their outstanding support.
