Finley fantastic for soccer

by
May 26, 2016
Last Saturday produced a wonderful morning of soccer in Finley.

The players are now fully kitted out in their soccer uniforms from the wonderful sponsors, the Mulwala Water Ski Club.

The Finley Showgrounds were a sea of colour and the players fully demonstrated all their skills.

Players across all age groups are showing immense improvement.

Whether it be the Under 6 kids learning to dribble the ball or the Under 14 teams crossing balls from corners it is so pleasing to see the great fun that is had.

Parents continue to be vocal in their support and everyone enjoys a sport that until a few weeks ago was unfamiliar to so many.

Training will be on this week as usual and everyone is invited to attend at the usual times and venues.

It is a crucial part of the skill development of the players and training is a great time to meet players from other team.

Again the club thanks Intersports Wingates for their weekly awards and it is wonderful the smiles on the player's faces when they receive an award.
This week the games are back in Cobram and another great morning is guaranteed.
